Sub-boards: Linking Back, First Time, Guest Center

A collection of makeshift huts and lean-to's line the shoreline. This is the main camp site for the survivors. The soft crash of the waves and the rustle of the nearby foliage create gentle background noise. There is a communal camp fire nearby and survivors often crowd around the fire as the chill of night nips at any exposed skin.

A little ways up the shoreline you’ll find the remnants of the plane’s fuselage. This solemn area is seldom disturbed, but everyone clearly recalls the event of their first few moments of terror on the island. Tread carefully.

As you head inland, away from the shoreline, you find yourself amidst the thick forest of bamboo trees. You walk deeper and deeper into the forest, no longer able to hear the chatter of the campsite along the shoreline. The forest becomes thicker and darker, sending a shiver down your spine. You begin to hear soft whispers echoing amongst the trees. Perhaps your ears are just playing a trick of you.

As you head even further inland, the Bamboo Forrest is sliced in half by a long, winding river. The river is full of sharp, jagged rocks, and you elect to follow the river downstream, instead of trying to cross. You wonder if there is any safe way to get to the other side.

After a long hike through the trees, you can find yourself in the presence of a beautiful waterfall, cascading into a wide pool of water. Although it isn’t as blue and clear as the name suggests, the water is cool and refreshing; definitely safe to drink. It was given the name Crystal Waters due to its beauty and convenience since it is so close to the shore.

If you look close enough, as the waterfall parts, you may see a gap in the wall behind it. Walk in and you find yourself in a secret cave that almost no one knows about. It holds many secrets. No one knows if bats inhabit the cave, but it is nice and cool, making it a great place for some shade. Light streams in from the cave entrance. Will you keep the cave a secret? Or will you tell the others?

Walk a little farther from the waterfall and you may come across a large opening in a strange congregation of rocks and boulders. Hidden by vines, moss, trees and bushes is a cave. It is a little more obvious than the cave inside the waterfall due to the fact that it is a gaping hole in the rock wall, but bats also fly in and out of the cave promptly at morning and at night. Wander in and you may just fun yourself knee-deep in bat guano. However, it makes a great shelter if you have no where else to sleep.
