Ok everyone knows that members are what makes a site active and this board is no different. That said we can offer things that some other boards may not be able to, things will help make anyone's stay as enjoyable as possible. For instance when we say that "THE ISLAND" has active staff we mean it. At least two shall be on each day although more often than not you shall see all four of us online.

We also care for our members and what they want. Yes we have canon characters, yes we have a basic idea for a plot but no, that doesn't exclude anybody. Both original and canon characters are welcome here for members to decide the direction that THEY want the site to go in. Serious plot's and subplots can both be suggested by any member, on "THE ISLAND" we'll take a vote like discussion making it fair for all concerned.

We are an advanced and literate roleplay yet by no means are we a mean site, as long as you can post around FOUR HUNDRED WORDS than you will be absolutely great here. It might sound a lot but in all honesty it really isn't, role playing is all about improving your writing skills which is exactly why the post count is in place.

Applications take a long time to fill out and are mostly filled with information that you never use again so here we don't have one. Instead we have an AUDITION which is simple, quick and easy to fill out thus is far more effective for a role play.

Our CANON LIST was carefully created by the Admin to suit the environment and plots that will eventually come to be played here. Each character having some sort of personal problem that they must overcome allowing the players a chance to portray them going through complex situations.

In short "THE ISLAND" wants you to join because if you want a roleplay board that is ACTIVE, takes into consideration members ideas or plots, and just to have FUN then this is the place for you.
