age: Seventeen
date of birth: April fourth
eye color: A slate blue
hair color: An ebony brown
height: Around five feet and five inches
full description here:
Standing at five feet and five inches, she's a rather petite girl when it comes to her body. She's generally small, what with her skinniness and her shortness. Her skin is a shade of milky white, always have been her beloved feature about herself, she does not believe in tanning her skin. Her dark brown hair is often styled into a wavy downfall of locks, framing her face. However, she also straightens her hair from time to time to keep up with it. Also, has bangs that slant to the side, no matter the style. And her hair is at medium length where it's only reaching to the upper area of her back. She has quirkly eyebrows; starting from one side which moves upwar toward the other end, creating unqiue eyebrows of curved lines. Blake has a slightly rounded face, but in a good way that compliments her features.. or so she's told.
Even though she's rather small, she still has musical fingers. As in, she has the delicate hands of a muscian, the bony, graceful, and slender fingers of someone who's played guitar in the past. Her fingernails are medium-length, not chewed short nor are they obnoxiously long. Instead, she's one who prefers to keep them simple and can easily be maintained. Her eyes are a so-called beautiful slate blue with light flecks of lavendar littered around the pupil. Her lips are naturally a light peachy strawberry colour from how she used 24-hour-stay-on lipstick in the past. Blake also has a tattoo located on the inside of her left wrist, having gotten when she was sixteen. She knew that she'd have to keep it forever which was why she had gotten the picture of a dragonfly inked upon her skin. Her clothing of choice would have to be dark yet a bit stylish. She enjoys wearing not-so-light colours that have unique styles of their own, because she wants her clothing to speak her personality, to show that she's not just some 'pretty girl' and that there's more to her intelligent mind than what meets the eye.

the likes:
Blake has many different tastes that aren't like other people's. She is completely into computer and video games, yet she absolutely loves to play guitar. She's a geek in disguise because she's all for any kind of game system, having always been into action. Also, she enjoys watching movies.. horror, drama, any. Because she tends to try and seek out the style of direction and how the writers have written the script. Blake also enjoys browsing magazines and writing up articles for a newspaper that doesn't even exist.
the dislikes:
This girl cannot help but have something against a few certain things. Like, how she can't stand when someone isn't correct in what their saying.. it just frustrates her to no end. She also cannot stand the dripping of noisy faucets at night, the popping of popcorn in a microwaves, and how the right or left signal of a car continuously ticks. But, of course, those aren't the only things that tend to bug her. Blake's always found bugs, birds, and the taste of vanilla to be annoying and tries to avoid all three whenever possible.
hopes:
Blake's always been one with the big dreams for college, a successful job, and eventually, a family. She's wanted exactly the stereotype that's for any kid who grows up. She's researched a few areas that she'd like to go into and has come out with either a science technician or a mathematical professor for a well-known college. She certainly has the brains for it, but they're typical dreams. And, of course, she's always wanted a family when she was older, people she loved who she could come home to. However, she'd always wondered if it would be best for her to design her own video games.. to create 3-D worlds for fellow gamers.
fears:
Blake only has a few fears, but their enough for her that she doesn't need anymore. Her biggest fear of all time would have to be that of her becoming vulnerable to those around her. She has issues with revealing who she really is on the inside, knowing that her world could be turned upside down by just the cruelness of one person. And, for as long as she can remember, she has always feared this the most. But, things like the possibility of drowning and dying a torturous death are also things that scare her to no end. Also, heights are not her best friends, because she can always see the bottom and picture herself splattered across the surface.
big secret:
Throughout her life, Blake's always wondered if what had happened that one night in her life had made her the way she is today. After what had happened, she didn't want to believe it and had told herself that it 'just wasn't possible.' And that could've been what had started the entire 'logical thinking' thing that Blake had going on. Her opinions and such were so important to her, aswell as her beliefs. But, before what had happened, she was never like that. She had believed in Santa Clause, knew that the Easter Bunny existed, and that her father was a good and decent man. Everything was great in her life; nothing was out of place and life was actually perfect. Except, when one night, Rachael and Blake were home alone by themselves. Supposedly, their parents had gone out of town and they were watching old movies on the television. An hour after their parents left, a knock at the door jumped them but Rachael had gotten up to answer the door. It was their father. Blake wasn't sure why her father was back, but when she asked where Mom was, he just shrugged. Fifteen minutes after his arrival, he grabbed Rachael and dragged her upstairs to her bedroom. And, after a moment of muffled struggles coming from Rach, he came back down, eyeing Blake. As she sank deeper into the couch, she squealed when he grabbed her and forced her up the stairs as well.
As she was brought into the same room as her sister, she gasped in shock at how her sister was tied to the bed, some of her clothes ripped off of her and her hair a mess. Blake's dad then grabbed a chair and placed the girl into, tying her up and facing her in the direction of the bed. As her father continued to set things up, Blake was more scared in that moment than her entire life, wondering what the hell he was going to do to her older sister. After a moment of rummaging around in a door, her father finally found what he was looking for; a camera. He simply set it up and turned it on to record the area where Rachael was laying. Crying out in protest, Blake screamed for her father to stop whatever it was he was doing, but he refused and climbed ontop of her sister, causing the girl pain and grief by raping her.. in front of Blake. Tears began to stream down her face as well as Rachael's and it continued on until their father was finally 'finished'. But, after witnessing that, Blake's never been the same; having been traumatized because of the experience. However, her sister was in far more pain and insecurities so much that she had to be placed into a hospital for a while and then to a group home. Since then, they've both changed into different people.
hard-core:
Blake doesn't compliment anyone for anything. Sure, she gets compliments on her shirt or necklace, etc. but she rarely returns the favor. She believes that soft things like that are not important and are a waste of breath. She doesn't compliment others nor does she insult them. Rarely does she lie and she's often found hurting other people with her self-confidence. Now, she's not an arrogant chick who's out to bring everyone else down. No, instead, she holds her head high and stays in her own world. She comments when she wants to and nothing stops her from reaching what she does indeed want. Everytime she thinks of a new goal, she doesn't let anything or anyone get in the way of that. Her thinking is often clear and she things practically and logically. Unfortunately, however, she's a bit closed-minded and cannot see beyond what's in front of her. Video games, computer games, and such are just fun entertainment. And she's not afraid to be frank about her own opinions, stating them with fierce dignity; standing up for what she believes and not taking someone else's answer into her own heart. She's not willing to accept another answer than her own, creating her to fight tooth and nail for what she thinks is correct. Yes, Blake's a stubborn girl but she is rarely ever judgemental. People barely register on her radar, only talking when spoken to unless she feels she should indeed state what she has to say. Most of the time, she appears to be uninterested in what other's say and act, but she does indeed pay attention. However, she has a hard time connecting with others because of how overbearing she may seem at times.
independent:
She doesn't let anyone control her. She has a hard time trusting other people with her true feelings, because she doesn't want to become dependent upon them. Blake learned through life that if you want something, you have to get it yourself. You shouldn't trust nor expect someone else to drop everything and retrieve what it is that you're seeking. She likes to do things herself, always knowing that she can accomplish whatever it is with ease once she's worked out the kinks. Granted, she can't do everything and she's often making mistakes like every human being, but she doesn't lie to people. She does indeed have trust issues, having always needed to just depend upon herself. Of course, without other people around, she probably wouldn't know what to do. But, she learned long ago how to take care of only herself when she needed to.. and to never become dependent on a man. Consquences and easy mistakes came from doing so, because Blake was taught that if you become too dependent upon another being, you could easily get hurt. And that's something that she doesn't want to happen.. getting hurt by someone else would cause her to be vulnerable to that person, to be seen from the inside out. Therefore, she keeps herself well hidden under her mask, never revealing everything about herself. She is indeed an awkward person to be around, but she does try her best to fit in.. even if she doesn't want to.
simple:
To be honest, Blake's never been the complex girl that yanks a guy's chain, always trying to find out how he feels about her. She doesn't send the 'wrong signals' nor does she play games. When someone asks a question, she answers with a logical explaination and then moves on her way. Granted, this means that she doesn't have quite the imagination as everyone else does, but it also gives her her own unique side. She's read, heard, and knows all sorts of strange legends and stories, but she rarely believes them. She has to 'see things in order to believe them', because she was always taught to see things for what they really are. How life doesn't have any hidden and inspirational messages. Psychology and such have never been important to her. Instead, things like science, mathematics, and other ways of getting exact answers have been her style. Her thoughts purely contain that of what's surrounding her. She may be simple but she's a bit glib; lacking in depth or substance in her character. Not to mention, she has a reason for everything she does. Blake doesn't like to act on impulse, because then things could easily go wrong. Which is why she drives herself insane by analyzing every possibility before choosing the most practical one. Often times, her greatest strength is her greatest flaw. Because, about half the time, the impulsive decision would've worked rather than the planned one. Leaving not enough time to actually fix whatever the problem was at the time.
honest:
She's the girl who'll tell you her mind in a straight heartbeat. She doesn't lie, but she is, however, extremely blunt in what she has to say. She does have an imagination, but it only goes as far as pixels, making it hard for her think up an excuse that's worthy to use for a lie. Throughout her life, she hasn't really found a plausible reason to actually avoid the truth in order to get what she wanted. Lies, deceit, and manipulation had never been her strong points, because they just aren't her. Instead, she lays things out and doesn't sugar-coat a single thing to save someone from 'getting their feelings hurt'. It's not that she's 'insensitive' or anything, more like she just wants to make sure that they know exactly where she's coming from. When someone becomes offended with what she has to say, she gives it to them anyway. But, in the end, she knows that she does the right thing. Elementary school, middle school, and even in high school, kids have always lied to get their way through classes and even with friends. Blake's even tried to analyze why that might be but has never had a correct theory for what went through other's heads when they tried to avoid the truth. She grew up to believe that everyone should just forget the self-esteem issues and get a move on with life. There's no room in life to walk on eggshells around everyone who's having self-issues. Because, it's not fair to those who just want to get a move on, but the ones who easily are hurt seem to keep them back. Blake is one of those who won't let anyone hold her back; she's a determined, stubborn, and rather blunt girl who speaks everything from her heart and soul.

Oceanic Record:
Blake Elizabeth Jordan was born on a lovely April evening, to the blessed parents; Janine and Maxwell. They'd been so happy to have their second girl and decided that that Blake was going to be their last child; two was enough. As the healthy baby grew into a toddler, she was an energetic ball of light, always running around and getting into everything. She was quite the little monster; hiding in cupboards, chasing the cat, and so on. As life went on, the family moved from a few places to new places, but not enough times to actually make a difference. They moved around.. once every five years due to economic issues. But, each time Blake started a new school, she threw a fit because of how she had to continue losing her dearest friends. Until, one day, that secret of hers happened. Where her and her sister were both traumatized by their father; where he had raped Racheal in front of Blake while their mother was out of town for the night. And during this time, Blake was only eight years old.. making her sister only thirteen years old, herself. And after everything was over, they both became different people.. people that they didn't even know.
Blake became a girl of logic, never letting herself imagine anything, becoming strictly a gamer without any depth to her being. So, as she continued onward through life, kids would call her names and through things at her. She certainly wasn't the favorite student in school, but she did try her best in the subjects that she could. Now, she did fail with flying colours for subjects such as Art and English due to the fact that she no longer has a creative skill in her body. Journalism, writing facts is a different kind of point than a story, but she was on the newspaper committee. But, that was really as far as Blake went for school, because she didn't care for it too much. Granted, she enjoyed bringing in knowledge of all that is practical, but when it came to be forced to learn things, she would tend to avoid from doing homework assignments, etc. It wasn't that she couldn't do it.. more like, she was tired of it and decided not to. Also, she was the girl who was never invited to parties.. no, instead, she stayed home every Friday night, being home alone, with her father downstairs. Why was her father downstairs? Well... after Rachael had gone to the group home, he was set home free and since Blake's mother didn't know the real reason for things happening, so he was back in their life. Which was when Blake started to go out more, going to the local bar to hang with 'the guys'.
At this point in time, she was around the age of fifteen, needing to get away from the house as fast as possible, staying out as late as she could. Blake visited the bar often, the bartender sneaking her alcoholic beverages every now and then, because she'd revealed her story to him. It became so bad that she had begun to beg for a drink to get rid of the memories. She was becoming an alcoholic; relying on the drinks to make all of her problems go away. Blake continued to show up at the bar, long after they bartender banned her from having any drinks at all.. including the customers.. who could no longer slip her whole glasses of beer or vodka. So, to take the edge off of not having a drink, she decided to take some random guy to her bedroom. After it happened, she regretted it immediately. She threw the guy out her window and wept until she couldn't bring tears to her eyes anymore. And that was when she realized what she was doing. She was ruining her life and turning it into the life of her grandfather; the one who had killed himself by drinking and driving. Therefore, she immediately started staying home, always keeping the door locked, and began to read up on the logic of the world. And at this point in time, was when she developed her current personality.. how she became dependent only upon herself, how she became hard-core and careless of others, and how she let herself become bluntly and completely honest.
The day was a bit breezy but the sun was shining and the clouds were puffy. Even though it was a bit of citylife outside, the birds still chirped and traffic sounds rode down the sidewalks. All of the sounds would just sweep into your eardrums and make you familiar with the driving cars, chatty people, and even the occasional barking dog. Today was a rather busy day, everyone bustling about the streets of Downtown.. getting to where they needed to go in the shortest time possible. And that brings the subject of time up. Everyone has a lifetime to live, but when they live the same life every day, then who's to say that they really lived by the time the become deceased? People would rather be prompt and successful over having fun and letting go. Which is why the K & S Law Firm was exquistely busy with bunches of people entering and exiting the building in a furious-like manner. On this particular day, however, the co-owners were both unavailable to the son of Mufasa because of being knee-deep in a very large amount of work. Therefore, they had told him to just hang around the building and to not stir up any trouble. They knew that he could be a bit irresponsible at times but they were trying to trust him enough. Simba had indeed set up an appointment with his father or his uncle, but he had to be patient. Patient enough to wait quietly until they had completed all of their to-do lists. But, Simba knew that those tasks could take multiple hours which made him grow anxious as he waited.
So, at the moment, he stood in the lobby-area of the law firm. His hands were shoved deeply into his blue faded jeans as he tapped his black and white sneakered foot with impatience. After a moment, he stretched, his black shirt tightening around him for only a second before he crossed his arms in front of his chest. It had been nearly a half an hour and he was already annoyed about the tedious wait. Simba began to walk toward one of the elevators, deciding that he wasn't just going to stand there for forever more. Stepping into the small, enclosed area while the doors closed behind him, he left the sounds of ringing telephones and more people chattering away behind. He pressed the button for the thirty fifth floor. As he studied the maroon, designer carpet and the buttercream colored wallpaper in the elevator in the bright, eye-aching light, he let his thoughts wander. A sudden yet annoying 'ding' sound came from above the elevator door as Simba arrived to the thirty fifth floor. Stepping into the dimly lit hallway, he blinked furiously, attempting to have his adjust to the sudden darkness quickly. Following along the dark teal carpet and blank, white walls, he eventually found a door. It was a simple door that looked like any other and it was one that a lot knew about.. also, it was where the staff usually hung out on breaks or to take a nap instead of heading home. At the moment, however, he found it empty. Smiling at this, he let himself in a filled his favorite mug with the coffee that was already brewed in the pot.
Yes, he didn't work here, so what gave him the right to take the staff's coffee when he could just go out and pay for his own? Well, the fact that his father worked here and not one person could give him crap about being in the building. If they had a problem with him being in the staff room, then he could easily point them into the direction of Mufasa's office. And as he thought about his father a bit, he sat down onto one of the nice, cream-toned couches that was located in the middle of the room. Adjusting into the couch, he made himself comfortable as he gazed at the cheap picture on the wall. It was the classic 'Fruit of the Loom' piece of art that almost everyone knew. It was the bowl of fruits, painted of course, that people always swore was art. Of course, Simba's view of art was something completely different than what everyone else thought. But he often kept his opinions about art and such things to himself.. those things being a bit too intellectual for him to speak about in public. You could say that he put up a front around other people, because he did. He would laugh and act goofy around other people, but when alone, he had a lick of intelligence about him. Granted, he was an intelligent man that had potential, but when he didn't feel like applying himself, he refused. Not many people were actually fond of his carefree personality, but that was always the side that they knew. He didn't really care what others thought, but he did wonder sometimes what it would be like if he acted smart around everyone instead of his reckless self.
Pondering over this piece in his mind, he sipped his coffee as his fingers began to drum lightly on his left, upper thigh. While his muddy brown, dark topaz-like eyes surveyed the light walls of the somewhat small room, his mind continued to buzz. Mufasa, Sarabi, Drako, Nala, and even Kade and Timone didn't know about his more.. responsible side. Simba didn't even know it that well, either, but he did know that he wasn't the same as he was around them. When alone, like now, his mind was always on things that were far too wise for him to comprehend. Okay, so he was twenty four years old.. that's hardly old enough to be considered wise enough to poner things such as your intelligence level around other people. Besides, he would often act crazy and childish.. so why was he simply calm and alright in the head when he was enclosed in his room, his mind wandering the abyss that was located in the back of his mind. It was almost like he had two completely opposite personalities inverted into him but they were only triggered by who he was around. This suddenly made his face go a bit paler.. almost as if he had been frightened by the fact that the possibility of have multiple personalities was not, infact, impossible. But then he let out a small bark of laughter, knowing that he was just being too silly just by dwelling on these absolutely ridiculous thoughts and theories that meant positively nothing. Worthless scraps of thought that did not deserve a second surface thought for until years to come.
