This place could be the perfect holiday spot. She could imagine a street behind her on that street high buildings, hotels, on the ground floors some shops. With a view like this one it probably would be extremely expensive shops as well. Of course some bars and clubs around the place. For a bit of entertainment and nightlife. Yes if she looked over her shoulder she could nearly see it. Nearly, who was she to pretend that this wasn't the small island that it was.
As she looked to her right she could see the remains of the plane that brought her and the other castaways to this god forsaken island. She disliked this place, if she didn't hate it. And this was hardly the time to think about it. No she'd think back on it once she was safe and 'happy' in New York. Or back in the dreadful school she went to. She sighed as she stopped her little walk. She sat down in one fluid movement.
She had left the little improvised camp about fifteen minutes alone. She never had gone camping but she had a faint idea that the way they were doing it wasn't right. Besides she needed some time on her own every now and then. Her blue eyes looked over the coast line. She played a bit with the hem of her tank top. She was wearing a white top in combination with a pair of jean shorts. She was one of the more lucky one's if it came to clothing. She had one of her suitcases. There were people around here who didn't even have one surviving suitcase.
She pulled her legs up to her chest as she looked to the sun. It was sunset and this was a truly magnificent sight. The sky colored a brilliant orange and pink. It would be getting dark soon. But she didn't actually want to go back. At least not to the camp, as strange as it sounded she wanted to go home. While when she was home the only thing she wanted to do was get away from that place and the way her parents acted.
Her ignorant parents who never knew anything besides their own little worlds. Besides their work, her name and maybe just maybe her grades they didn't know anything about her. She wondered with a little doubt in her mind if they would even notice if she wasn't back home when she was supposed to. It had happened once, and even more then once, before that she hadn't seen her parents for a month or more. She had gotten used to it in time.
Yep that was the story of her life. She sighed once as she looked around once more, yep she was still on her own. She slowly laid down and looked to the sky. She laid on the border line between the trees and the beach. Her eyes remained open though as she heard footsteps coming toward her. If it wasn't Bianca or even worse Briana then she wouldn't mind.
It had been a few days and she had already managed to be such good friends with some people. Yea heavy sarcasm there. The two girls got on her nerves for quite allot of reasons. She let out a slow breath as she heard the footsteps coming closer toward were she laid. There was a faint smile on her face. The black haired woman just waited till whoever was coming, she didn't feel like yelling.
